Meet Bonni-Lynne

Bonni-Lynne Sandler is a compassionate, dedicated and kind teacher who has worked in the Health and Wellness field for decades. Over the last decade, Bonni-Lynne's career shifted from teaching Health and Special Education in public schools, to returning to the classroom to advance her education. As an Experienced Registered 500 hour Yoga Instructor, Certified Yoga Therapist, Reiki Master Teacher, Thai Bodywork Therapist, Myofascial Release Bodyworker with several specialized certifications, she specializes in assisting others in healing long held trauma ("issues in the tissues"), chronic pain, addictions, and other forms of dis-ease. She also trains new yoga teachers, reiki practitioners, and Thai Bodywork Therapists. Yoga Therapy Courses are now on the schedule as HeartnSoul awaits accreditation. While studying holistic healing methods, her mentors have included doctors, psychiatrists, yoga teachers, structural integrators, Rolfers, bodyworkers, LMT's and yoga therapists from all over the country.  She is passionate in her pursuit to assist individuals of all ages, skill levels, shapes, and sizes  in improving and maintaining their overall health and well-being. She is often referred to as the heart of HeartnSoul!

Meet ALYSSA

Alyssa began practicing yoga about ten years ago and completed her 200-hour certification in 2018 in Thailand with Path of Yoga. She teaches Hatha Vinyasa classes that encourage self-inquiry through gentle, breath-based movement. Drawing from personal experience with depression and anxiety, Alyssa creates a safe & where all persons can practice & grow without judgement. Alyssa has a BA in Dance from Dean College and has over 20 years of experience performing throughout New England. She loves to draw inspiration from music, nature, spirituality, the human condition ~ anything that stirs her. She is grateful to the practice of yoga for bringing her home to her most authentic self. Her mission is to spread healing and joy in the world by strengthening ourselves and the connection to one another. In her spare time Alyssa enjoys spontaneous kitchen dance parties & Disney sing-a-longs.

Meet CORRY

  Corry Rooks is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance(RYT 200). She first became a student of yoga in 1995 at age 50. As a yoga student she was fortunate to have studied Iyengar yoga and Anusara yoga with three extraordinary teachers. Corry began teaching yoga in the Washington DC area in 2002. She taught there until 2013 when she and her husband moved to Wilbraham where she continues to enjoy teaching. Corry initially practiced yoga because of the healing it brought to her back. Now she practices yoga primarily because of the happiness it brings to her heart. She enjoys sharing with her students some of what she has learned, and continues to learn, from this valuable ancient practice. Corry has a BA and an MA in English literature.

Meet JILL

 Jill Aline Thompson is a beautiful soul  who has worked hard to overcome many obstacles in life. Over the last year, Jill has found her niche teaching yoga and combining her reiki skills as well. Jill teaches a lovely class called Chakra  and meditation.  Her career as a Recovery Specialist keeps her active in the recovery community as she serves others. She is a Certified Yoga Instructor and Reiki Practitioner. As a volunteer, she gives back any offering Recovery Yoga at Hope for Holyoke. She lives with her two amazing children! She is passionate about helping others to feel safe and heal. She has a heart of gold!

Meet STARR


Starr discovered yoga ten years into her career, working in the Connecticut Department of Correction. Starr was experiencing stress and anxiety related to the pressures of the job and began looking for something to help her find balance between being at work and off-duty. Starr began taking yoga classes and after discovering the positive impact her practice had on her life, she knew that it was her passion to share her practice with others. Starr continued her journey by completing 200 hours of Yoga Teacher Training and started teaching Beginner yoga classes within her community. As a Vinyasa Yoga Teacher, her goal is to help students build a connection between the body, the mind and the breath. Starr believes in living a life full of joy, gratitude and free of judgment. These feelings guide her teaching practice, which is focused on creating a safe space for students to better connect to their authentic self. When she’s not working or teaching yoga, you can often find Starr at the beach, meditating or hiking in the forest or mountains. Yoga has and continues to heal and transform her physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Starr hopes to keep growing, evolving, and learning as a teacher and a human being.

Meet JESS

 Jessica is a licensed mental health clinician and trained art therapist. She specializes in trauma and uses many therapeutic modalities to meet each client where they are on their personal journey.She began practicing yoga to help move through life stressors and find self acceptance through awareness. She believes yoga is a never ending practice where you continue to mindfully grow, one breath at a time. While practicing yoga, aerial yoga became her passion! This led her to HeartnSoul where she earned her RYT-200 and now combines her mental health experience to offer therapeutic aerial yoga.Her areas of expertise is in reaching children of all ages and sharing her love of yoga and the aerial silks. She enjoys teaching others to trust themselves and find inner resilence while having fun.

Jess teaches from a place of inner beauty, grace, and resilence.

BUDDY: Our Studio Mascot

Buddy is our studio mascot and a trained therapy dog. He is a two year old Golden Doodle with a heart full of  unconditional love for all who are interested!  Buddy has studied at Bright Spot Therapy Dog of Northampton. He  loves to practice yoga, meditate and gives the best dog hugs ever!! He loves alll beings, is hypoallergenic and great with kids!!! Feel free to say Namaste to Buddy !

Meet JOHN

Johnny is our studio musician, offering his love for music and a brilliant smile earning him the name "Smiley" as a child! His soul shines as he offers loving kindness through the healing sounds of the crystal bowls, songs and the soothing sounds of the guitar!  By day, John is an environmental engineer with a Masters Degree from Northeastern University. His current path is leading him to sound healing therapy using crystal bowls and other modalities. He is certified in Reiki and studying to become a yoga teacher as well! Come raise your vibration and soothe your soul on Monday nights at 6pm! Take 5 minutes to chat with John and you will surely leave with a smile on YOUR face!

Meet JENNY

 Jenny Milbier is a 300-Hour RYT certified teacher, who obtained her training in vinyasa yoga from New York Yoga in 2011, after being a yoga practitioner 8 years.  From the City, Jenny moved to Providence, RI and taught at NOW Yoga, where her class won Best of Rhode Island.  Jenny is now back in her hometown, and has joined the studio to continue teaching a practice that focuses on combining breath with movement, along with some fun, modern music to accompany the flow.

Meet SHERRY

MEET Sherry Gomez, BA Psychology, MS ED & Psych with Trauma Training from Springfield College. For the last 20 years, she has counseled children & adults in schools, residential, outpatient, and college settings. Her ability to build rapport and trust quickly, allows clients to feel safety in both private sessions as well as  classes. She works at the studio as a Therapist, Reiki Practitioner, Pre&Postnatal, Mama&Me, Pre-School & Chair Yoga  & Yoga Therapy Instructor AND Studio Manager! Continuing her education, she is a C-IAYT, Yoga Therapist at HeartnSoul!  Mom of FOUR beautiful children and happily married, she has found healing through yoga, yoga therapy & holistic methods! Sherry's open heart & contagious laugh will greet you !

Meet TAMMEY

  Tammey was first introduced to Pilates in 2004 after having some back issues and was recommended to take Pilates to strengthen her core and back. This is when she truly realized the benefits of a regular Pilates practice had on her body. As a result, she fell in love with Pilates and decided she wanted to help others discover the many benefits as well. She received her first Pilates Mat Class Certification in 2005. Her love of fitness and a healthy lifestyle quickly lead her to gaining certifications in AFAA Personal Training, Interval Training, Core Muscle Training,Stability Ball Training, and cycling. Tammey enjoys encouraging her clients to recogize their full potential by achieving their health and fitness objectives.  Her beautiful smile and radiant energy is an integral part of the HeartnSoul vibration! She resides in Wilbraham with her husband and dog. She has a passion for travel and making surprise visits to her beautiful grandchildren!

Meet Justine

Justine found yoga during one of her darkest times,  struggling to walk & move after back surgery. In an effort to reclaim her body, she  searched rehabs, retreats, treatments and  found Ananda Ashram. It was no coincidence she went to the Ashram only intending for  a month and ended up staying for 6 months ! She fell in love with yoga as she as found physical strength  and mental clarity. . Unfortunately, chronic pain left her  with  an addiction to pain medication. Throughout active addiction, a ray of hope remained  as she recalled  the Ashram teachings.

Justine found sobriety 2 years and became a HeartnSoul’s 2nd scholarship  YTT Scholarship Recipient!  She is certified to teach Recovery Yoga and leads  classes. She hopes that her experiences with  the yogic lifestyle inspires  others Justine attends meetings regularly  as she continue s her glorious, happy sober life. Spirituality, part of her yogic  journey, deepens her Connection sobriety.

Justine combines movement&! strength practicing Hatha Yoga,  meditation and pranayama to turn inward and connect with her higher power. She believes that our yoga mats are a sacred and  safe places where to inquire into the self &  our spirit without judgement.
